Great Customer Service = Andre - SpaceMan
Andre answered all my calls about a used vehicle on the lot and got back to right away on the availability, trade-in options, and scheduling a test drive. On the day of my visit, he called a few minutes before the appointment to give better directions and that the truck had been pulled up to the front. He is a really easy going guy and would recommend seeing him for your next vehicle purchase.

Smooth process, good vehicle & price - DodgeJourney2018
They were able to get to the price posted online and then we negotiated from there so they were straightforward and fair. The process took about four hours from start to finish including looking at the vehicle and test drive, negotiating on price, financing and options, and vehicle prep and delivery. Friendly group and I would not hesitate to visit again in the future.

I have some physical issues that can make little things daunting and these guys went above and beyond to help me manage. I have been coming here for service for a long time and while the dealer is never the cheapest option, I have never had a problem with the work

My Ram purchase was flawless - Matt L.
I couldn’t be happier with my purchase from Chrysler of Culpeper. I drove 4 hours for a great deal, and Thurston was great from start to finish. No haggling, great price, and more for my trade. Their initial offer was more than $2500 less than any other dealer I talked with. By far the best experience I’ve ever had buying a vehicle. I would make the drive again in a heartbeat.
Military friendly - Clayton
I was looking to trade in my old truck for something new but wasn’t ready just yet, still wanted to test drive a few vehicles. I came after work in uniform. Mark the sale specialist was extremely helpful and one of the most pleasant salesmen passangers I’ve ever had. Bahram the manager had come out when we returned to thank me for my service and was also very helpful in answering many of my questions. I did not trade my truck in today but will be going over my planned budget one more time to make sure. They offered a trade in value for my truck that I will not see at any other dealership! If the vehicle I came to look at is there tomorrow and numbers are worked in great ways like they were today, this will by my one stop shop! I highly recommend this place and the 2 associates that helped me!
Great experience X2 - Ram & Challenger
IMO was our sales person and took time to listen to our wants and needs and found us a truck within our budget. He was very friendly and made us feel comfortable and was easy to trust. He did such a great job we went back and traded in our second car too. Second go around was the same. We will be referring our friends to this dealership
Gamechanger - DN Woods
We purchased our new truck BECAUSE of Spencer Colbert's honest and modest customer service. He was attentive to what we were looking for in our new truck and had an extensive knowledge of not only the Dodge Ram brand but the other American made trucks. His attitude toward relationship building was genuine. The finance team used actions, not words to show they valued our time and made the sales transaction smooth and expeditious.
deceiving sales tactics - dk89
After purchasing my 2018 Jeep Cherokee and doing research (obviously too late), I read reviews of the same situations that happened to me. Leckner Chrysler Jeep and Dodge in King George, Virginia is advertising vehicles for prices that are super low and then adding crazy amounts of "upgrade fees" to the vehicle after. The Jeep I purchased was “on sale” for $9935 off of the advertised price. By the time I went to sign, the fees they added ended up making the vehicle only $1,000 off. I have never had so many fees at the time of purchasing a vehicle. I was told that there were dealer upgrades not listed on the sticker- however, there was no sticker at all and when I checked on uconnect’s website (similar to Onstar for Jeep vehicles), there are no dealer installed add-ons.
Before buying the vehicle, I took it for a test drive. It drove great and after driving around for a bit, I took it back to the dealership. I opened the door and Adam L., my sales guy, asked me how it was. I told him I liked it but wished it had navigation. He said they could add that for $600 but that it had Apple Carplay so it wasn’t necessary unless I really wanted a standalone navigation system. I decided it wasn’t necessary if it had CarPlay and we went in to sign papers. When I went to leave, I realized they didn’t put gas in it so they sent another sales guy, Scottie B., to run and fill it up with gas. I asked him if he could help me figure out how to get CarPlay to work and he played around with it and asked where the sticker for the car was. I told him it didn’t have one on it. He said he didn’t think it had it but to take it to a local dealership later and “play stupid” and its probably just an upgrade they can install but Leckner’s upgrade system was down so they couldn’t do it there. I thought it was odd, but after spending over 4 hours at the dealership, I was ready to go. I got home and logged onto the uconnect website and, of course, there are no available updates.
I tried several times to get in touch with a sales manager and after 8 or 9 failed attempts, I reached out to the Better Business Bureau. They sent two letters to them asking for clarification- both of which got no response. As a final attempt, they called the dealership and also got no response. After three failed attempts, the BBB closed the case and made a note on Leckner’s account. You can find that on their website.
As a final step, I called Jeep’s corporate office and spoke to two people on two different occasions, both of which let me know that they spoke with the dealership (while I was on hold) and that the sales manager would reach out to me. That never happened, so today I called one more time and FINALLY got a hold of Dustin R., the sales manager. He told me that I shouldn’t have waited a month and a half after getting the vehicle and that his hands were tied. Nothing can be done. Oh, and Scottie doesn't work there anymore so he has no way to verify anything...
BUYER BEWARE- Leckner is after your money and does not have your best interest in mind. Stay far away from their shady tactics and go elsewhere.
Great service! - Justin71
Scott Radar went out of his way to give us a great buying experience for our son’s first Jeep. Had exactly what he was looking for at a reasonable price. Would definitely buy from him again.
Ram truck purchase - Tombstone
I went to buy an advertised used vehicle that was on the lot and when I arrived it was gone. My wife and I had already planned to buy a vehicle so we looked at the new Ram's. The salesman took his time and did a great job showing us multiple vehicles and test drives. We were there for hours and expected the dealer game you always get. This was no exception but you have to have the mindset going in and not be afraid of walking out. We eventually agreed on a new truck at a great price. It was only slightly higher than the used truck we had gone to see... They were always polite and did a great job. Of course they're going to try to get you to buy a car, but they didn't over do it. We did not have a trade in to work around.
lack of accurate and fast service - icrpcw
Had my compass in for issues related to power and acceleration. Dealer ran a diagnostic and simply reset system. Two days later, vehicle broke down with same problem but worse. Had to be towed back to dealership. Two full months before I got vehicle back.claimed they only had one person on staff that could work on transmissions. Said they could not offer loaner even though it was their fault they did not identify problem the first time it was in there.
My Jeep broke down off Interstate 95 and I got great service - Mrsk08753
On June 22 I was traveling from NJ to SC when my Jeep broke down just off Interstate 95. I had my Roadside Assistance tow the vehicle to the nearest Jeep dealership which turned out to be Fred Frederick in Laurel. Even though they were busy, Joe Lavin went out of his way to have the problem diagnosed, overnight the part and install it the next day. He made sure I had a place to stay and kept my Jeep, with all my travel gear in it, in the service bay for safe keeping. I was on the road the next afternoon and have not have any mechanical problems since.

Disappointing! - ednev
On June 25, 2018, I purchased a used car from Koons of Tysons Corner. The car had passed Virginia inspection. However, because I am a Maryland resident, the car had to pass Maryland inspection. On July 2, 2018, the car failed Maryland inspection due to a severely leaking front left strut. I was able to see the severity of the leak myself while the car was up on the lift at the inspection station. The struts on this car are extremely expensive because the car has adaptive suspension, with various settings, e.g. “sport”, “comfort,” etc. I was also advised that when one front strut is bad, you should always replace both, otherwise the car will ride and perform unevenly. The repair cost for this was $2,474. Of course, I advised Koons of the situation immediately. However, Koons declined to cover all or any part of this cost, advising me that its only obligation was to provide a vehicle that had passed Virginia inspection.
What was I supposed to do? I had already purchased the car and needed to pass Maryland inspection. I was forced to do the repair. Consequently, I ended up paying an additional $2474 over and above the purchase price. If I had initially wanted to pay $2474 more for a car I could have purchased the same make, but a newer model year, or purchased the same make, model and year, but with significantly less mileage.
How could this be allowed to happen?? I saw with my own eyes how bad the leak was. Why didn’t Koons’ Virginia inspection disclose this problem?? If it had, the repair costs would have been borne by Koons. That’s what should have happened. Why didn’t it?? Does the inspector get so much business from Koons that, in order to further the mutually beneficial business relationship, it does not submit Koons’ vehicles to a very meticulous or rigorous inspection process? I don’t know the answer to that question. However, I do know that the badly leaking strut should have been noted by the Virginia inspector and remedied by Koons before I bought the car.
In any event, after Koons was made aware of the problem it could have and should have stepped up and taken care of it. Yes, that probably would have meant foregoing any profit on the sale. But Koons chose to be penny-wise and pound foolish, preserving the profit on this one sale, but at what cost to their reputation? How many future sales might be lost? I can tell you that it is highly unlikely that anyone in my extended family will ever purchase a car from any Koons dealership.
BOTTOM LINE WARNING: If you are a DC or Maryland resident, before you purchase a car from Koons Tysons or any other Koons dealership located outside your state of residence, you would be well-advised to have your own pre-purchase inspection performed by a reputable mechanic. Otherwise, you may be caught in the same situation that I was caught in.
Great Experience will return in the future - Medic1md
I was looking to maybe replace my 2007 Chrysler Town Country Minivan. I like the Chrysler minivan line. There was a 2014 Chrysler Town Country Touring Minivan I was interested in. I had seen advertised on the website. I liked the price as I was not looking to take on another car payment. I did not plan on actually buying but did. Jason was polite, willing to listen and made me feel comfortable with the entire process. I wanted to trade in my 2007 Chrysler Town Country touring for a 2014 Chrysler Town Country Touring. I liked how I have been treated by not only Jason, Wetzel, and all the used sales Dept. I have no complaints, I feel like they actually took time for me.
What Customer Service? - DaGrinch
Bought a used Jeep Liberty from an individual and it came with only one key. I bought a blank key from an outside source and had my son go to Bender's to have the key cut and programmed. They wouldn't touch it because it wasn't a MOPAR key. I knew I was risking the blank to be bad - what difference does it make to them? They were going to be paid for their time and effort. Nope, wouldn't touch it.
This would have been the perfect opportunity for this dealership to establish a good rapport - never know, I might need parts for the used Liberty and with a good experience, there's always the possibility I'd be back. They don't have to worry about it now.
