After taking my information and keys, I dropped the Jeep off and was told I would have a call first thing Monday morning. Monday came and the answer was delivered as promised. I appreciated the quickness in service, your vested interest in trying to get to the bottom of the problem with the Jeep, your diligence and overall empathy for the situation. I went to the Dodge dealership in Marlon Heights and got the worse customer service ever. As soon as I left there I called Ourisman of Alexandria and from the moment they answered I knew I’d be taken care of. It was a 10 min drive and I got right in. I had an issue with my windshield wipers and radio and they had everything diagnosed and fixed within an hour. All of the staff were professional and seemed really engaged in their jobs. I’d recommend this dealership for service to anyone.

I found a car at this dealership through the Car Gurus website. I live 3.5-4 hours south of Silver Spring, MD so I was right at my limit as far as distance I’d be willing to travel for a vehicle. When I called, I spoke to Jonathan Njoku in the sales department. He was very prompt with answering my questions and talking to his manager about pricing for me. I know most dealerships don’t like to talk price over the phone but they were willing to do so for me (not sure if that’s normal for them or if they made an exception for me because of my distance.) They did refuse to accept a deposit for the vehicle which I find annoying, but I can understand why. However, to offset not being able to put a deposit down, Jonathan told me to call him when I was planning on coming up and he would hold the vehicle for me. I’m glad he did because he said someone came and asked to buy it while I was driving up to buy it. I called Jonathan when I was a few minutes away from their showroom (the trip actually took 5 hours) and by the time I arrived he had the car warmed up for me and running so I could test drive it. Everything was as I expected from the photos online and from talking to Jonathan over the phone. He expedited the buying process as much as he was able to in order to get me back on the road headed home. He had even filled the gas tank for me so it would be one less stop on my way. The next day he called to make sure I made it home ok and that I still liked the car. There isn’t much I would have changed about this buying process from Jonathan at Darcars. I would certainly consider buying from them again (only thing that would hold me back is the distance I live from them.)

Negligence Cost Us - Becky Lane
Took our Jeep Cherokee in for a "popping" noise on the left front - told them about the popping noise and the trac light being on-on the dash. They called us and said that the Jeep was just in need of a front end alignment as the toe was way out of line. Paid $400. for diagnostics and the front end alignment and went on our way. The popping was still there but not as bad. Left Thursday for a long weekend in Atlantic Beach, NC and 3 hours into the trip - the popping was back and worse. Thankfully took the car to a dealer in Morehead City, NC - there we were told that we were VERY LUCKY that nothing happened while on our drive because the ball joint was pretty non existent on the left side. So now, we are out $1,700 and another front end alignment within 2 weeks. The idiots at Safford will be hearing from me to request a refund for their negligence! Very thankful for the dealer in NC. DO NOT HAVE SERVICE DONE AT SAFFORD!!!!!!!!!!

I ended up paying full price for an suv after I was told I’d pay a less amount then sticker price. Then when I caught it, I was told I must have miss-understood him.

My Jeep broke down off Interstate 95 and I got great service - Mrsk08753
On June 22 I was traveling from NJ to SC when my Jeep broke down just off Interstate 95. I had my Roadside Assistance tow the vehicle to the nearest Jeep dealership which turned out to be Fred Frederick in Laurel. Even though they were busy, Joe Lavin went out of his way to have the problem diagnosed, overnight the part and install it the next day. He made sure I had a place to stay and kept my Jeep, with all my travel gear in it, in the service bay for safe keeping. I was on the road the next afternoon and have not have any mechanical problems since.

Horrible stressful car buying experience - Seban
Would give 0 starts is possible. Horrible experience buying a certified pre owned car. Noticed a problem with the car same day after purchase and notified the dealership next morning. What followed was a flurry of wrong information and inability of anyone in service to even answer the phone let alone give an update. After three weeks, had to call Dodge customer service and escalate the issue only to find out the dealer had the replacement part with them for weeks and was just yanking me around. Even the Dodge service rep had issues getting someone on the phone to talk to at the dealership, which was insane! Thankfully Dodge was able to locate that the dealer already had the part and booked an appointment for me to get it replaced. Would never recommend this dealership to anyone.

My experience with the shop -in person- was great! Very friendly and great CS in the service department! However, this was my third attempt with calling to make an appointment and both calls were very unpleasant (and I say both calls because the second try, there was no answer). The first time I called, the woman (secretary?) I spoke with over the phone had an unpleasant demeanor and made it extremely uncomfortable for me to converse with her. This happened during both calls. Thankfully I was transferred to two different people in better moods who both had told me that the secretary was “in a mood” or “having a bad day”. Usually these types of things don’t bother me and I tend to let them go, which is why I pursued an appointment, but two unpleasant calls exceeds my personal tolerance of acceptable CS. This is why I have rated 3 stars.

My daughter purchased her first car on her own from the Used Car Sales at Tate. The entire experience was awful. From cars that wouldn't start, to sales staff who were clueless to the entire process. She had a broken touchscreen in the Jeep she purchased - Wetzel told her one to two day repair so we went on with the purchase (he also told her they'd give her a loaner car). We took the Jeep in for replacement and to date, its been there 3 weeks! And they tried to bill her for the loaner car. Wetzel won't return calls, Paul said there is nothing he can do "What do you want me to do?". So, she's losing her used car warranty as we speak because its been sitting in the shop. We wouldn't have taken possession of the vehicle had we known. Paul told me its because she declined to purchase the extended warranty? Really? So, we'd be treated better had we purchased that? Just a nightmare!!! Calling the GM of the NEW CAR SALES, see if I can get anywhere.

Bought a used Jeep Liberty from an individual and it came with only one key. I bought a blank key from an outside source and had my son go to Bender's to have the key cut and programmed. They wouldn't touch it because it wasn't a MOPAR key. I knew I was risking the blank to be bad - what difference does it make to them? They were going to be paid for their time and effort. Nope, wouldn't touch it.
This would have been the perfect opportunity for this dealership to establish a good rapport - never know, I might need parts for the used Liberty and with a good experience, there's always the possibility I'd be back. They don't have to worry about it now.
